Why Hire a Professional Photographer?

I've photographed all kinds of things. This includes taking my own photos of a teeny tiny baby fashion blog back in the 2101's. I learned my photography that way and got familiar with my camera. I got really good with a tripod. I could get decent shots of my outfit with detail shots in fifteen minutes on my way to work. Taking my own photos gave me the autonomy to get the angles I wanted, and I didn't have to feel silly posing in front of someone else. But I have learned in taking photos of other people the ways in which getting someone else to do the hard part can be beneficial.

Getting someone else to get photos for you allows you to get shots from someone else's point of view. It lets someone else capture photos that you might otherwise miss while you are in the moment -- which is exactly where you should be.

When you have a professional behind the lens, they can play with the focus, dimensions and angles of the photos that you might not have thought of.

A professional photographer can get photos that you can use to promote yourself or your small business that you can use on websites, prints, business cards and more. They can pay for themselves in appeal and advertising.

If you have an event, especially one that occurs yearly or seasonally, having a professional photographer get shots of a show, performance or even conference can be more than purposeful -- they can turn out to be really beautiful.

A professional photographer knows how to calm nerves from a roar to a whisper. This helps you get comfy enough to even forget that they are there sometimes, making the smiles genuine and the time fly by.

If you have a professional photographer, you can get The Shot. The one that captures that perfect smile, lighting or musical note.

The most admirable talent that a professional photographer has is their eye for a good backdrop. And their eyes stay open for an opportunity to put you into said backdrop.

Perhaps one of the biggest pros to hiring a professional photographer is that you are hiring them to carry out something that you also have an input on. For the above photos, my oldest son wanted me to do a Kronos photoshoot years ago. It was all he wanted for his birthday. I was happy to do it for him.

Candids, candids, candids. I love a good candid and who doesn't? The smiles are never forced or awkward and the shots are beautiful.

The number one thing that photos can bring to the table is emotion. You remember that anniversary, that time in your lives, that age of your kids. It's the best part!
