Best Photoshoot Locations -- Loveland, CO

I graduated from Loveland High School back in 2000 (yeah) so Loveland will always hold a special place in my heart. I have done photoshoots there dozens of times. Here are some of my favorite spots for shots!

  1. Downtown Sculpture Park. Loveland has a super cute downtown that just keeps growing. Here are a couple of specific spots in the downtown area that stand out specifically. The above photo was taken during a tiny little area off of Fourth and North Lincoln. (Note that there is currently a lot of construction around this little park in particular, but when it is available for photos, it is a cute little tuckaway.)

  1. Downtown graffiti walls. There is a decent amount of really cute artwork on the walls downtown as well, which can give photos an edgy vibe.

  1. Downtown Shops. The shops downtown have really cute curb appeal. Take Satori Tattoo Shop above. Another great option is in front of the Rialto.

  1. Churches. Loveland has a bunch of really cute, ancient-looking churches and a lot of them live downtown. I remember going to a wedding at this one decades ago as a young girl.

  1. Post Office. The downtown post office in Loveland has great photoshoot appeal.

  1. Railroad Tracks. Just west of downtown are some great railroad tracks that make for really fun, urban-looking photos. There used to be a restaurant nearby, but it is now closed. Maybe they will open another one!

  1. Foote Lagoon Amphitheater. This cute little setup has dramatic steps, a gorgeous pond and a million places for a fun backdrop. Both the above and below photos are from this space.

  1. Norma & Lynn Hammond Amphitheater. This is snuggled right between Loveland High School and Lake Loveland and creates a cool vibe for photos -- especially for musicians and skateboard enthusiasts!

  1. Benson Sculpture Garden. This place is huge, seriously. You can wander through it for hours. Every time you turn around there are different art pieces to admire. Every year they have an annual Sculpture in the Park event that should not be missed. Kids are free to run around and across the street there is an adorable little train!

  1. The Love Sign. Loveland is a central hub for Valentine's Day. People come from miles and even states away to get Loveland stamps or stamped envelope for the holiday. You can even buy your SO a heart that is hung around the town. Right off of the northern exit for the town sits this "Love Sign" complete with "love locks" on the other side.
